Setting the Intention for the day

I made the decision a few months ago to stop drip feeding myself with daily News. Instead of all the doom and gloom- I wanted to start and end my day with both positive and uplifting thoughts. Not to be confused with burying one’s head in the sand. I do fully appreciate the need to be aware of both Domestic and Global Affairs but not to be saturated by them…

I stumbled across this wonderful Podcast from the Womens Meditation Network that has completely transformed each day for me.

Now, I bookend the start and end of the day with these 10- minute meditations. They are set to a backdrop of beautiful instrumental music that is so calming and comforting. I feel it really allows me to set my intention for the day and close the day, letting go of any challenges that have arisen.

As I continue to work on my Pilates App in-between classes- I am more convinced of the bite size method. Just 15 minutes of exercise to start or end the day is perfect alongside a weekly session. Those happy hormones will kick in and deliver the energy lift needed in these difficult times we are living in…
