Rolling Like a Ball

This week in all classes there has been a focus on the ‘Rolling Like a Ball’ exercise. This is such an important one that can often be overlooked as a transition movement rather than an exercise in its own right.

It develops strength and endurance of the core and pelvic stabilisers. It works the rectus abdominis, obliques and hip flexors. Promotes balance and the ability to sit on the tailbone at the top of the movement.

This playful exercise is surprisingly challenging. Think about maintaining the C- curve throughout for a smooth and flowing movement and eyes focused to the centre. A great massage for the whole spine!

As we approach the end of Term, just a reminder that Public Classes will be on hold after the 8th December and resume on January 3rd 2023.

In other News- I have postponed the proposed Mini Ball Charity Event as unfortunately the numbers weren’t there this time round. Perhaps a little too close to Christmas? Will think about re advertising next year.

Looking forward to the Festive Tea Social on 2nd December and thank you to clients for forwarding dietary requirements.

Wishing you all a lovely weekend ahead!
