Creative Energy Boost!

This weekend I visited one of my favourite places- RHS Wisley Gardens. It was a real tonic and energy boost! The hour an half drive was not a pleasant one with driving rain but literally within 10 minutes of being there- the clouds lifted and the sky was beautiful with patches of gorgeous blue.

Really needed time in nature- the last few months its been nose to the grindstone with the Business. My brother’s Birthday was the perfect excuse for an outdoor meet up and of course a nice meal!

Everything as always there was looking fabulous! Rows of daffodils and snowdrops and lots of colour even though it is just March.

I was magnetically drawn to the Camellia tree above and knew that it would be the stimulus for a new fabric design! The drive home was much more pleasant as I was brimming with creative energy and enjoyed Sunday manipulating my images for my new fabric design.

Here are a few preliminary ideas from my workings- my next batch of headrests will be the result of this inspiration!
