Food for thought

Yesterday during my Thursday Express Class, it came to light that there may be a misunderstanding of what is meant by correct ‘hip alignment’. My clients will be only too familiar with this phrase that I refer to frequently during sessions!

I thought it might be useful to forward a good easy read resource, to outline what is meant by this term, when doing Pilates exercises. Just to add- when I manipulate ‘legs in the air’- I place in the correct position for my clients- so don’t worry about not locating in the first instance!

A big thank you to my Thursday client (you know who you are- ha ha!) for high-lighting this as a teaching point.

For those that are interested in visualising the working of the Hip- this is a great site!

Over the next few months- I intend to re-introduce the ‘Anatomy Category’ that I had on my previous Blog, when with ‘Go Daddy’. Food for thought! Wishing everyone a lovely weekend ahead and I look forward to ‘moving together’ next week.
